... very excited today .
i took a chance and bought this fine looking Fender '60's Vintera Jazz Bass { Firemist Gold } online ,
couldn't be happier !!
... this is my second { in 47 years of playing }, brand new ,
out-of-the-box bass !!

bass sounds and feels great , and looks so cool .

bad boy is MIM , and i can say quality control is top notch ...

Pau Ferro fretboard is smooth looking , vintage frets feel fine .
‘60s single-coil pickups sound awesome .
thin ‘C’ neck , gloss urethane neck feels fast and smooth
American Vintage reverse tuners
nice tort pickguard
new set of Thomastik-Infeld flats

weighs in at 8 lbs. on my bathroom scale

... changed strings , did a quick set-up and i'm ready for my gigs this weekend ...

When you adjusted your setup after putting the flats on could you do it all at the bridge or did it require TR adjustment as well?
... the bass arrived with round wound strings that were loose and not in tune ,
so putting on and tuning the flats didn't require much bridge adjustment at all .
the 'A' saddle was a little low for my taste , but that was the only one ...
neck is straight and true .
... bridge saddle screws are flat head { not hex head } and should be easy to adjust when i need to ...
