This is something I've always felt about the Warmoth colors (and not a bad thing). I was going to order one of their bodies in Fiesta Red but their version was a little too deep of a red and less pink than Fender's.
Which bridge rout did you select? I tried to install a Fender HMV bridge on mine and had intonation problems...Warmoth colours are meant to be the same as the originals fenders were, not the faded colours that we see on the instruments from the 60s these days.
Here's my sonic blue Warmth Jazzmaster bass.

I'd say that's more like Daphne Blue, another Fender classic color.See, that's what I associate the color "Sonic Blue" with. Maybe a little less bright.
The Badass III String-Thru Body route. No problem at all with intonation, although I did have to install a shim in the neck pocket to get the action right. Setup on it is now exactly where I want it. (It is a Fender neck, rather than a Warmoth).Which bridge rout did you select? I tried to install a Fender HMV bridge on mine and had intonation problems...
(Here I am derailing my own thread again! Haha)
This is an amazing read. Thanks for posting this!Sonic blue is more "pastel" (lighter) than Daphne. Here's a good discussion of Fender custom colors.
