Fender's "Sonic Blue" Basses

That looks more like Daphne Blue. In either case, they are gorgeous colours.
That's definitely one of the good ones.
Sonic blue is more "pastel" (lighter) than Daphne. Here's a good discussion of Fender custom colors.

Of course, there's Fender's new color, White Opal. When I called a dealer who had one of these limited Jazz basses in stock and asked him if it was similar to Blizzard White he told me it looked blue to him, so go figure.

Cool! Opal is one of those things where it changes color depending on what angle you're looking at it.
I thought the blue one was the white one at first, that's light a blue they are. That being said, these seem like fantastic basses.

Truth of the matter is, the lighting can really affect a color like sonic blue or surf green. I have a surf green bass that looks quite different depending on what room it's in and how bright the sun outside is. There are photos of sonic blue AVRIs on TB that you'd swear are olympic white.
Ok now that, I am positive, is daphne blue and not sonic blue. Maybe not exactly "daphne", but definitely more colorful than sonic.

Wow, they're both more intense than the Fender colors.

And yes they do seem to be more deeper in colour
Looks really nice hear, almost pearlescent.
This is something I've always felt about the Warmoth colors (and not a bad thing). I was going to order one of their bodies in Fiesta Red but their version was a little too deep of a red and less pink than Fender's.

I own the new Mustang P/J in "Sonic Blue" It looks like Olympic White on most stage lighting as well as natural light. Below are pics, first without the flash and second with
Side note...KILLER bass. I replaced the bridge with a Babicz and ordered a Pearl White PG
I love the look of a vintage sonic blue nitro finish that has turned green but is still blue under the pick guard. If I ever commission a custom bass it'll be that finish. It'd be cool to watch it turn over time.
