FIFA World Cup 2014

I just realized I goofed up ALL of today's scores lol I went from thinking I had 11 points today to nothing? Unless Japan wins 1-0 haha oh well I'll pay more attention next time to the order of games being listed not by schedule but by group order. Great games so far, that's all that matters.

Yeah, Pirlo an absolute master. Such vision.
Going to be a sad day when he retires, I can't think of an active player that even comes somewhat close to him in the deep lying playmaker role(the fm games want me to call him a regista....), magical. I guess Juninho and maybe Ronaldinho are about on his level in set pieces, but neither are playing at any comparable level league wise.

EDIT: Scratch Juninho, retired in Feburary.

Interview with Stevie G was a bit hard to watch. England could not finish. Wonder if it comes down to Hodgson's tactics? Having Rooney playing deeper on midfield and having to track back to try and cover for Baines was bad. Pirlo was just...Pirlo. He had total command. The last free kick fooled everyone except the cross bar.

United used to play Rooney on the wing too. Six freaking years ago, he hasn't the pace for that any more.

EDIT: Still, this is the country that used to play Scholes on the wing so they could play worse midfielders ahead of him, this isn't even bad tactics by that standard.

That could've gone a lot better for England, but Italy had their number.

Girlfriend is about to head over, she doesn't sound too thrilled about Japan/Ivory Coast (or the World Cup not involving US matches, for that matter) but I told her that was my evening plans, and she can either watch it with me or find something else to do. ;)

And that's the way to do it! Its a once every 4 year event! U got ur priorities straight ;)
