Martin, I know, I know (you even left me a message) but I was so busy this past weekend I forgot to put in my predictions for the remaining games of the first round (and the first games of the two) . I pretty much take my yahoo sports predictions and bring the over here (looking at the last few games, I only got two completely wrong). I had Chile winning 2-1 today, but I'm too late for that.

Hmmmm yesterday's table showed I had 44 and this updated shows 47. But from my count Its the 3 for the Chile score and 1 and 1 for picking Netherlands and Croatia as winners for a total of 5.

No worries, but didn't see a 4-0 In this game. I have to agree with what was said earlier, Cameroon had the talent to have a better showing this world cup. But not a well functioning unit. And that Red was well deserved!

I was hoping for a bit more from tne African teams in general. Perhaps the Ivory Coast will make it out of the group stage but it doesn't look good for anyone else.

I was hoping for a bit more from tne African teams in general. Perhaps the Ivory Coast will make it out of the group stage but it doesn't look good for anyone else.

Nigeria have a decent chance if they can get their act together, since they are one of the better African sides (on paper, anyway). Argentina will absolutely win that group, but #2 is up for grabs and they have just as much of a shot at it as anybody else in their group (Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran).

Yeah same here. I was thinking Nigeria would make a good showing and had the best chance. But I was really disappointed with how they looked. Ghana looked pretty good though, but tough group.
