Here at Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, La for a weekend of recording!

Running my bass clean through an Avalon U5 and "dirty" through my Fender 100T into an Ampeg 810 mic'd with a Sony C37P.

Great, if that's the case make sure to let the mastering engineer about so he does not do all the nasty things done to CD releases. You can also ask him to create a special Master for compressed media.

I'm pretty sure vinyl equalization is still done in-house at most vinyl plants still, right? I've always wondered if the final mastered product goes there or if they receive pre-masters and basically do their own mastering for the vinyl release.

I've had the chance to meet with a mastering engineer at Bernie Grundman here in in LA and they would handle all parts of the Mastering Process to create the the final Master which they would then create their own Mother copy with an in house vinyl lathe. that master would then go off for duplication.

Doesn't UAD model a Neve and the Studer? Why waste your time Gawl!! Just kidding! Enjoi the love my man! I'm sure that your end product will sound awesome! I have to settle for the "video game graphics" version. But if I squint my eyes and pretend really hard...
