ok im finally getting my new Jazz or precision not quite sure....but my dad is finally letting me get it after about half a year of asking lol.

but i was wondering can you get a Fender Jazz MIM in white without having to get it repainted to white? (i think its olympic white thats plain white?)

anyway if you can help me out with this....thanks a lot.

You got it all wrong. According to the law: black pickguard/white body is the way to go.

I can't help being reminded of the Doonesbury cartoon from many years ago, when Mike Doonesbury was a Big Brother to some poor kid. yea well ive seen some pics of white guitars with red pickguards but a lot of them have been tort.

No, I'd say that's like red perloid (I could be terribly wrong). Tort would have more brown in it.

Dee Dee Ramone used a white Precision with a red pickguard. Looked pretty cool to me.
