Excellent job! I am impressed; It looks way better than the first bass that I built. I understand about the headstock; it is really difficult to come up with an original design.

All in all, That's one beautiful bass!

That second headstock design is a lot better than the first one, I think it has more character to it.

Very nice adjustment to the headstock! As someone else already mentioned, I don't care for the wood knobs much as I like them to contrast with the body, but holy hell that is one beauuuuutiful bass!

I was wondering when someone would point that out. I didn't rout it out yet. Figured I'd wait until I need to make an adjustment.

I tried my hand at some pu covers. They turned out pretty nice. Still working on the knobs; the ones I previously made were too big. Trying to see how small I can make the knobs.

I did a shellac spray on, sanded that down smooth and then rubbed on a few coats of tung oil.
Not sure how well it will hold up over time, but it gave me a nice finish that wasn't overly shiny.
