Firefox Bass from Ark Instruments

I hate to be crass, but how many dollars are we talking about? I can see spending $1k (duh!), but not $10k, can you even give me a hint? Should I remain interested, or just go away?

A 5 string Firefox sells for $3k, made in USA by Todd Johnston of Mossy Rock Guitars. Hopefully next year some production runs can be made making the wait time much shorter for those interested in buying one of my instruments..
