First Bar/club gig in less than 2 hours...

Another congrats.

It sounds like you have the nucleus of something that will work. When my band started to get feedback from other musicians that we were tight was when we realized this was going to work. People dancing and positive feedback from the patrons is always a good sign. Keep it up and enjoy the journey.

Sounds like the gig went well. Congrats!
How about some pics or video? Recordings?

We are working on getting a website...our friend is editing some video, and as for the recordings...they too are in process...

Another congrats.

We are having a great time...it is a great group of guys that are together, and we are getting good feedback from other musicians. In fact the lead singer from another local band was there last night, and was actually hoping to get to sing a song with us...He apparently has already recommended us to some other club/bar owners.

there is nothing better than playing music you love, and seeing people enjoy it just as much as you do, it makes you realize what they mean when the say music brings people together.

p.s. don't do heroin now that you're a giggin' rocker. I hear you never catch the dragon.

Of course not, you can't even chase the dragon when your ass is stuck leaning against a wall for 8 hours. But you can write one hell of a book.
