First cars?

CIMG0311.jpg

Got it for free. Still have it.

My first car was a 1983 Buick Rivera, pretty much just like this one. I paid $1,000 for it in 1994, in really good shape, from a family member.

The day I got my license, I got rear-ended by an 18-wheeler after a kid ran out in front of the lady in front of me. My sharp instincts and awesome driving skills kept me from getting ran over by the big hauler, and I walked away with a slight scrape on the bumber and a busted tail light cover.

Unfortunately, 3 months later an old baggle in a suburban hit me head on after he fell asleep at the wheel, and while my awesome driving skills once again kept me alive, the car was toast.

Tommygunn: My first car was a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda that my dad helped me buy in 1969, but that dosen't matter. Your first car, and the adventures your going to have, will last a liftime, and 40 years from now, you would give a fortune to have that rusty old car back, and remember, your not just anybody, your a bass player! Just be careful man, and have fun!
