First ever gig tonight

No official gig "time", still getting it down. Most of the music on the set list is Rock n Roll....AC/DC, Krokus, Nugent, Rainbow, mostly 80's / 90's stuff. (Im a blues man at heart) My good friend (guitar player) is also a local cop, people are just dying to do him favors, which includes venues, sound people, equipment etc. So we really arent even focused on that yet since it will come so easy, just worrying about the music right now. How long were you on stage until the jitters went away?

How long were you on stage until the jitters went away?

It took about 4 bars - we opened with 'No One Knows' to ease any nerves and warm ourselves up (we had been doing that song for months in band practice). Certainly recommend starting with a number everyone's comfortable with - next time, we'll hopefully do that with more of a crowd pleaser.

Hmm, 4 bars, not bad at all. I hope for the same....but doubt it,lol.
