After months of practice, our band played our first gig. I was both cool and collected (outside) and a complete train wreck (inside). I felt like I made quite a few mistakes but they aren’t obvious in any of the recordings.

Congratulations on your gig. Mistakes should be minimised, true, but also they're part of what proves it's real and not somebody pressing 'play' behind the curtain

From my experience, mistakes are mostly unheard unless you perform them as a group. The others probably made mistakes you didn't hear, just like a few "free" notes you gave them were not noticed.

Know the feeling, played my first this century and my previous bands first gig ever last month. Had a major mid set screw up yet no-one mentioned or said anything. Onward and upward from here mate
