First good amp reccomendations?

I recently bought a Peavey Grind Bass NTB 5 (which I'm enjoying immensely) as an upgrade for my Westerfield 4-string bass which came as part of my "I wonder if playing bass is any fun" starter pack, along with a Meridian AK15B combo amp. Now I'm planning on getting a new amp combo or head/amp set for Christmas and was wondering if anyone had any words of wisdom.

I'm not looking to wow crowds at packed shows or anything, just for an amp that will match my new bass in terms of performance and sound. Being something of a pleb when it comes to bass knowledge I'm not really sure where to start, other than with something that costs less than £200 (being a cheapskate student.) Any and all reccomednations will be welcomed. Thanks much

If U fill out your profile we can see where U R based & what sort of stuff U R into.....this helps us to give U accurate help.
Looks like a Euro sign for money so -not really knowing whats available in yr area- I'll play it safe & say Hartke combo's are pretty good, as would be a Gallien Krueger combo...depends how much power U R after etc... I'd reccomend 2nd hand stuff-possibly a Hartke HA3500 & a cab to match-like a 1x15", 2x10" or a 4x10 if $$$ holds out! Be hard to go wrong with a HA3500 & 1x15" for a start out rig-you can always add a 2x10" or 4x10" later, but the 1 x 15" will do U for many gigs even.
