Firsts for you in 2013? 2014 Goals?

2013:
- Learned the part of being a husband you learn from caring for a partner with a chronic illness
- Put solar panels on the roof

2014:
- No beer on school nights
- Catch up on sleep
- Catch up on TB PMs about preamp pcbs :)
 
2013:
Grandpa died.
Bike team dissolved.
Got canned from my band (this morning).
Also discovered that I'm going nowhere in my job. Despite 12 years in the department, I'm making the same as a new grad.
Discovered that I'm a total doormat and total schmuck.

2014:
Join new racing team and get some results.
Totally scrap my bass playing/technique and start from ground zero. Work on True Fire courses
Pick up the guitar and work on True Fire courses.
Brew a hell of a lot more beer.
No more Mr. Nice Guy.
 
It’s always nice to look back on the year and think of the good things you’ve done, I think we spend too much time around the new year thinking about how we can make next year better, which kind of makes last year feel like a failure.

2013- Achievements

1. Played my first real gigs, even got paid. I’ve been playing music since I was 6 years old, only took me 30 years to get a gig.
2. Clocked up 10 years at my current employment
3. Didn’t lose the weight I was hoping too, but didn’t gain any either.

2014 - Goals

1. Play better gigs
2. Get my wife pregnant
3. Complete the extensions to my house, to accommodate the results of number
