Flat out punchiest cab

To me, "punchy" is always tight, but can go deep and retain a sparkling top end without being brittle. 'howzat?

That sounds like a Bergantino HT115, to me. :D

But, I should point out that this is also rather different from how I have heard other people describe "punchy." Nothing wrong with your take on it at all! I like it. I'm just saying that some other folks (including those who responded to this thread) may be thinking of other characteristics when they say "punchy."

+100 on that! I believe its a great thing that so many interpretations can be cool to so many people.

True, but I think the 610 punches through the mix in the mids more than the HT 210 does, while its a bit more shiny in the highs and a bit deeper in the lows (I use both).

Agreed. The NV610 is a "punch through the mix" machine. The Sadowsky cabs do a great job of this as well.

Id happily say that by my interperatation of punch, its a very bass driven charecteristis, as opposed to the amp.
also how the bass is played, i think my knowladge is a little restricted to give good examples, but im sure people know what i mean?

//*MY* puchy is that gut feeling, you feel a punch. you see?

I would say punch is something thats felt just as much as heard. The next time your playing loud, stand right in front of your amp and feel the difference. That's punch. The punchiest cab will give you the most of that feeling as possible when your not standing right in front of the speakers.

By that definition, I'd go with the NV215.
