Flat Wound Acoustic Strings

I don't think you'll find many flatwounds specifically for ABG. Most ABGs are played plugged in anyway in reality, so yes, electric strings generally work well, so consider regular electric flats and tapes. There are some who've tried converting upright strings for ABGs as well, but that gets tricky. Another option if you like the sound of brass strings but don't want the noise might be these new flat-ish pressurewounds : New from GHS: Pressurewound Bronze
