If I had a P Bass and a J Bass and wanted one of my basses to have flats and one to have rounds, which bass should have flats (and why?). Is the J or P superior for flats?
I have a P and a J. I tried flats on both and the P with flats sounded much better than the J with flats. The J now wears rounds.
