FLATS?

What Flat wounds seem to have the round wound tention and not seemingly tighter feeling? I have heard great thing about DR...just want some knowledge

I dunno. I just use Chromes and those black pastic ones. Not sure about the tension issue.

To add to what JmJ is saying, I've used the Fender 2120(?) black plastic/nylon coated ones with pretty good success. I've noticed them lasting longer and being easier on the fingers. The tone is kinda darker/warmer...not really muted, but not as punchy on the D and G. They were inexpensive and had great tension on a 35" scale.

DR flats, and Thomastik Jazz Flats have the least tension of flats I've messed with over time. Compared to Labella, Fender, Chromes.
