Flea's Sound

Hey guys I'm purchasing a new bass soon, and I was wondering, this is more of an opinion question but do you think I'd get more of flea's sound with the Sterling SB14 or Sterling RAY34? The SB14 gives more of the Modulus sound, but he used his Stingray countless times on many albums. What do you guys think?

The Ray34 with GHS nicklewounds,through GK amps and cabs. There is your Flea tone.Or close enough.

On top of that, the GK 800RB eas flea's main amp for years. A stingray plugged into that is total flea in my perspective. I did it and couldn't believe it. no effects, no nothing. Just the bass plugged into the amp.
