FLIPTOPS.NET - Devastating Fire, out of business

I am really saddened by this news. Bad things happen to good people. I purchased some repair/ upgrade parts from them, many years ago when I still owned a '64 B-15. Great resource and fair pricing. I really hope he rebuilds, there was no other place like it. Recently, Luthiers Mercantile went out of business, now this... seems to me, there should be another supply house besides the uber- expensive but excellent Stew-Mac.. I loved LMI.. and Fliptops.. but it is as it is.
The only things guaranteed in life- are change, and the end of life.

I just went to order a few more parts for my B15 and saw the website notice.
This is very sad news especially for Bruce and his family.
I certainly hope all is well for them and would be very happy if they can get back up and running.
A great person to deal with and has been a huge resource for many of us.

Their transformers are made by Heyoer in the US. You could order one from them if you explain that Fliptops is out of business. Also, Mercury Magnetics sells one, they will pot it if you send your original can.

Just an update on our plans to reboot Fliptops.
We plan to have the website checkout being back up on
Monday, January 6. Product availability will be limited to begin with,
but here is what is available to purchase: any cabinetry work, grills, back panels, cabinets etc. as well as specialty speaker conversion cables, speakers, and covers.
All other items will show "Out of Stock" till we are able to replenish them.
If you see an item on the website that is showing out of stock, feel fee to inquire on a time line.
We may be able to get it to you in a few days.

Well, that blows my plan to easily find what I need to refurbish the perfectly operating, but terribly ugly 8X10 SVT cab I just bought...

I shopped there A LOT over the years, sad news on so many levels.
