Hi Folks,

Here is a little back ground on the issue I discovered.

Started getting some basses from Schecter with the Fluence pickups.

The first bass had a neck pickup that would distort on occasion...So Fluence set me a full set of pickups to replace ot.

I replaced "just the neck pickup" with the one they sent me from the set and I'm guessing it was an impedance issue or something. It sound like almost all bridge pickup. It did not sound good.

I looked at the old pickup and it said version 3.1 on it, then I looked at the unused new bridge pickup and it was 4.0.

Long story made short...I end up replacing the bride pickup as well and everything was fine after that. (At least to my ears and at this time).

I'm guessing the preamp did not make to much of problem because the older pre sounded fine with the new pickups.

I will find out if the preamp needs to be changed as well, but I'm guessing no.
Just putting it out there incase others need to know this info.
