I can't stop myself on posting this..

A Matt Garrison Signature bass with narrower string spacing from Japan....I wish I had spare money to buy this beauty and luckily, it is not a 6 that similar to mine on ordering...

Any info on this on.. Jason?

It is a KILLER bass that we made for our Japanese Dealer. That bass actually sounds as great as it looks...

Hey Jason, what is exactly the "narrower string spacing" option like on the MG above? What are the two spacings ( wide and narrow)? Does the narrow have to be a different bridge or can it be on the Fodera bridge?

First of all, thanks to Jason for the tremendous work with my original order...
Here is my first Fodera: Presentation Shape, Walnut crotch hand carved top, 5 piece ash with stringers neck, semi hollow ash body, Aero dual coil PU in Lincoln Goines position, passive
... just me and my bass guitar.
Pictures from Fodera, will get it next week. I'm sure will enjoy.

Mine is like that and the "tension issue" is what I believe the reason for the extended B is.

Overall, the B sings and wether or not it is due to the extension I am not sure. I am pretty sure that the incredible craftsmanship of the bass has a lot to do with it though.

Just wondering...
Are there any photos of "custom shaped" basses by fodera.
And guitars?
Instruments with shapes different to those on the site ( i.e.isn't meshell ndegeo cellos' fodera a "special" shape?)?
Would be interesting to see some if there are any...:)

Oh no- not another string-tension-via-extended-B debate. (FYI, it does not increase string tension.)

They use a Hipshot bridge, as the Fodera is only set up for 19mm (+/- a bit) spacing. I've seen Foderas with 17.5mm and 16.5mm spacing before, and I'm sure they've made others. Mine are currently set for 16.5mm, but I may make it slightly narrower even.

Wor, it's amazing....
I really like the "customized" model. (Although every single fodera bass is custom bulit)
What is the scale??
Congratulation man...

I hope mine will finished tomorrow, or tomorrow will be Nov 2011.:hyper:
