I was a bit surprised at the light shade as well, but I ordered mahogany and have been told it is mahogany, with an alder tone block, chosen by Vinnie.

Is it white mahogany? Awesome looking bass bassbuddha, and your other fodera sounded great last night.
Bassbuddha, your new bass looks great. We'll have to have a little TB/Fodera get together after you get it.
Those are awesome. If I was going to get a Fodera, that's almost exactly what I would want it to look like.

Since it is Sunday and I am obviously not in the shop, I cannot look at the bass or your Production Records. However, the back of the bass pictured on your post above definitely looks like Mahogany / Alder...

No, it's just a bad picture. Our Mahogany stash DOES vary in color (as all Mahogany does) ad this bass was built with Mahogany that is on the lighter side color-wise, but it is darker in person...
