I was the guy that started the project (the book about Fodera) several years ago. It has been on the back burner for the past 18 months (for obvious reasons). However, recently we have began discussions about picking up with it again with the help of another Fodera owner / player / author...certainly when things become more concrete, we will let you know!
In terms of progress pictures for an AJ Presentation...yes, they do exist, however, we do not want the internals of the instrument to be in the public domain. Unfortunately, in this day and age, people seem to feel that it is their natural born right to copy anyone's designs...
Search TB for "Faux Fodera", "Fodera Build", etc. and you'll understand. It's amazing..."I LOVE your instruments, but I cannot afford one so I am having an amazing luthier make one for me."
Absolutely zero thought that these are proprietary designs that are the only way we make a living...
