That looks like 60s spacing on the outer coils...true?

Hey Jason, did you guys ever put that spalted top I was considering on a bass? I'd be real interested in seeing that if you did.

On having a look at the artists page on the fodera site I noticed something...
Has Anthony Jackson had a kill switch fitted ( it looks as if there is a dip switch on the instrument...), and a new bridge?
or is the instrument he is pictured with a different instrument than usual.
Hou...that bass looks nice!!![]()
We have added a coil tap, allowing the pickup to be run in either single or dual coil mode and the bridge has been black anodized (it remains titanium)...

Man, you've got TASTE!
What kind of music do you play with those basses?
Thanks!
Which coil is in use when in single coil mode( and is there some sort of anti-noise device in there now, to avoid that intrinsic aspect of singlecoil operation?)?
And is the pickup running in series or in parallel?
Thanks again!![]()
Thanks! This bass I uses mostly in jazz and fusion.

Ha ha. Nice clip. My oldest son started playing bass too and moving into some of my basses, but he ended up gravitating to drums, so I'm safe. Nice clip, by the way and nice bass (of course).I own an exquisite mid-90s Fodera Monarch, my son plays it at the Conservatorium of Music.....but, as I remind him, it's not his bass .....yet
Clip of this lovely bass getting slapped around by my son-
And there is a testament to single coil pickups. Even Anthony, when he heard his bass run single coil, was willing to tolerate a certain amount of noise because that sound is undeniably killing! I wired that switch loose in the cavity just for giggles one day at the shop and after he played it for a few minutes he said, "drill the hole. mount the switch".
It makes noise, and he doesn't use it that way when the noise is above a certain threshold, but he uses it. And it sounds amazing, to be honest.
I'm almost certain it's parallel when in dual mode, and I have no recollection of which coil is on when in single mode.
