Fodera Club Part VII

It wouldn't cost anything near the cost of a new instrument...without having it in our hands, it is hard to guess, but probably in the $5,000 range, give or take...

Oh, I didn't mean the cost of a NEW instrument, I meant the cost of buying that instrument off eBay.

Cool instrument, but a wee bit too much investment for a very unknown quantity. Too bad- if it were whole...I'd have bought it.

Well, I liked the part that said:

"Style: double cut away" :D :D :D

I guess it is a triple cutaway. I would love to buy it. I think this bass is historical in the sense that it represents the quest to make a playable 6 string bass and that it belonged to the man. If it was in perfect nick, the price would be off the charts.

hey, for what it's worth.

an "album" i did of solo bass stuff, all sounds made by fodera basses.

some of the stuff is prepared bass with solo bass on top (sorta trying to cop middle eastern inflections); some is complete solo extended improv on standard/songs changes (no melodies).

solos are unedited, warts and all.

might be interesting as a different flava of fodera.
