Mr. Olive,

can you describe to me the sound difference (the DISTs have new speakers in it right ?) between the UL S2 and the DIST cabs ?

I'm using an UL 3x10" S2 but thinking about going to two (or one first;)) DIST 2x10".... but they're hard to find here in Europe and it seems that they are not that available...(more like a "project" that gets update by update.... like the first Piccolo which never made it to the shops ;) )

Hello Lennard III: I will gladly do a fresh A/B next week for you. We have a service to arrange so I will be out of the shop till sometime next week.

Nick may not bring everything to market that he designs but when it does go on sale, you'll be assured it's going to work like a charm and it's going to sound great. Like Vinny, Joey, Jason and Vadym, he's a perfectionist. That and he always finds the best Red Cow Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

I have the little mark II with their 210 rear ported cab. Their stuff is so light. I can carry the head, cab and bass in to a gig in one trip. It sounds great as well!

Thanks.. Gotta get down to GC and try some out. I prefer front ports and saw they have a 2 x 10 front port combo.. i think the LMII head is in that... The portability is a big issue for me these days.. :-)

That's not the std model I beleve?

Perhaps you could check out this, the man actually plays the bass.

Thanks, Timothy. I just did a search on "Yin Yang Standard" and assumed it was tagged that way, but I should have checked it closely to be sure. Thanks again.

For the youtube one, upload date was late 2010, and I believe YY std is not yet officially launch at that time plus the preamp layout told a bit of the truth too. Hope this help. :smug:

Wait rather than make guesses by gazing at the headstock to see if it bends...

Is there a difference in the preamp and therefore the controls between the standard and the custom? Maybe that would be an easier way to tell the two apart.

Sorry for not having done my homework on this guys.
