Actually, there is a lefty AJ 6 string that would be mine now if it was righty. That's the body shape for me right there :) It took a few years to grow on me, but I love that shape now.

naw, we'd being having a cage match fight over that if it was a righty. totallyy in my wheelhouse otherwise, down the old pre and all that.

I ran across this http://www.fodera.com/Shop/ProductDetails.aspx?ItemID=424 on the official site.

It says "7-piece ash neck" but judging from the pictures I see three ash+two purple heart only.

PS, Someone told me that Fodera didn't provide high gloss finish like this one any more. Is that true?

Pretty sure it's true that the gloss finish is no longer available. It wasn't an option for my Presentation Hybrid.

I like the older one with the olive wood top. If that was a 6 I'd be losing my mind lol

20 years old this year...

It is a 7-piece neck, there are two very thin black stringers that cannot be seen in the photos.

As for the gloss finish, we stopped doing them three years ago. On a professional instrument it is far, far easier to maintain the satin finish and to fix minor dings and blemishes. Keeping a gloss finish looking "perfect" with the very thin kind of finish material that we use is much, much harder...

That pre owned Presentation is beautiful. Wayne you should keep that and the hybrid -- if at all financially feasible.

Mine is at the top of my "last bass standing" list.

Joel,

I thought very hard before deciding to sell it. I decided to claim the last 30th Anniversary build slot for an as yet undefined 6 string. The hybrid and the new bass will be my "last basses standing", or should I say "sitting" since I don't stand when I play. 8^)

Yes, right here on this Forum a couple of weeks ago. We got rushed with a LOT of emails and phone calls and since we are only making three...they have all been spoken for, sadly...

J

those are the ones with all the old parts??? that i knew of as i offered you my old haz. 6 strings?

I thought there was to be a 30th Anniversary standard bass also??

No, two different things...the three 30th Anniversary pieces are different than the six (6) exact replicas of Vic's first Fodera including original parts...
