A question;
Doesn't Lincoln Goines have two basses, one 34' and a 33' short scale one, both strung B-G?
Are there any good clips of him playing the short one that you are aware of and might be able to post here?
And-are there any other people you are aware of that use short scale B-G tuned 5 string basses?
I'd be very interested in hearing such basses and would greatly appreciate any sound/video clips!

I have played a very nice B-G 33" Imperial that belongs to Hermann Gerlach (Harvest fine Leather) - this bass has a "full" walnut body (bodywings and heelblock) an Ash neck and an Ebony board....

Felix once said in an interview that he got a Jazz Bass from Joey and that they first were called Lauricella and that they changed the name to F-Clef after that...

that's what he said so I guess that the basses from Joey had been somehow the "first" F-Clef basses...

Hi there, just wated to ask, and Jason might be able to help. Does Fodera ever made a 7+string bass? I am a big fan of Fodera (to the point that I am studying lutherie inspired by their designs and hoping to be half as good as Fodera Team) and I love ERB, it would be awesome at some point to have a 7 or 8 string Fodera....

think i saw they made one a long time ago? maple fingerboard, if i remember correctly.

Hey guys, I traded my black hardware for gold a few months back and am not sort of thinking I liked the black better on this particular instrument. If anyone wants to trade their black for my gold, let me know. It would be for a five string.
