In forever with my YYS. I just can't put it down. Someday there will be a custom to go beside it, but this ones not leaving.

Couldn't have said it any better! YYS #49 here and my wife says she's never leaving... I too want a custom 5 (thinking a YYD 5 in Ebony and Alder or Ash body with a Birdseye Maple board and Dual Coils) so I agree with the whole gateway thing...

Off topic but I noticed you're in Carolina Beach. I was there on vacation this past summer. I've never played a Fodera but at least I was close to one!

Ok, this makes some more sense to me. I think my local luthier didn't like the lemon oil stuff that gets used and likely overused.
I'll try some mineral oil on my board next time I change strings.
