Mine is a non-solid top so the pieces are smaller, but it certainly looks the same hunk of wood. Yours might have a bit more flame going on than mine, but I didn't see a pic with any acetone on it to bring that out. It'll rock no matter what.

Mine will likely head into production this week or next. Just found out that we owe $8K in taxes :eek: so glad I plunked down another chunk on them last week. Getting married last year wasn't good for my budget :D

Ouch! I haven't got my tax bill yet, so I am seriously considering giving another large chunk of $$$ to Fodera. I don't want to be broke in a year and not be able to come up itch the remaining 65-70% I owe!

I wanted to mention that I bought a 10 pack of Fodera 5 string stainless .040-.120 strings during my Fodera visit.

I LOVE these strings! At $28 a 5 string set (just over $20 for 4 string when you buy 10), they are a surprisingly great value.

If you havent tried them, give them a shot!

Man I've been using Fodera strings for more then 2 years, just love them. Also just bought 10 packs

This isnt a buckeye top but the other specs are the same. I don't think buckeye has a tone really anyway.

I thought it was BRW when i first got this but it turned out to be Kingwood, BTW.
