Jason, y'all should consider giving away a 30th Anniversary bass to a non-Fodera owner to celebrate the occasion!

Wow!!!!! I love the Imperials!!! Now that I have my AJ5 with duals, if/when I can order one, it's going to be an Imperial with singles.
Was that the one on the Fodera site?
Wow -- Where did you find that one? I would have grabbed that one in a heartbeat.

It's a really great instrument. It has had only one owner -- a really great pro player -- and it was very tough to get Joey to part with it when we were doing final set-up for its new owner. If I were a 5-string guy I would have jumped on that one personally.
When we do have instruments in our online store we send out a Club Fodera email blast...

Just got back from NYC and thought I would post a pic of the crazy looking walnut top I picked for my Monarch 5 build.
It will be a dovetail with an ebony board (no inlays) and light mahogany body.
I had more than a few great pieces of wood to choose from....
But in the end, the below was the choice. Unbeknownst to me, it is from the same batch as one of Nostatic's current builds. I think it will end up looking incredible. I was going to go with abalone blocks, but Joey talked me out of it as he thought the top was so nice... why take away from it being the focal point? The man knows his basses.
Thanks again to Jason for making my selections easy and quick. This dude knows his woods... And wine!

Man...I used to own an Emperor just like the one in the first pic on the far right with the ebony top. Got it around 1992 and I sold it to fund my move to LA in 2000 but still think about it every day. Great career move, but still. Guy I sold it to ended up selling it few years later, as I tracked him down to buy it back (yay, Internet). Ha ha ha - anyone see it in the Boston area, lemme know!
