Fodera Club Part XXVII

Hah, yeah, the angle squashes it a bit to me sure. Full 34"! It is mine (or, rather, will be when completed).

Speaking of which...

The more I look at the MG shape the more I think it's perfect. Elegant and nice curves :)

Hey Jason, I was told the sliding pickup (as in the Pope signature, and the Madrone burl of may) is no longer an available option. Can you inform us on this, might it become available again, because I would love to have it in my next build.

Thanks

It seems that my bass is shipping today after being held up for a week waiting for US Govt paperwork. So it will be in my hands next week.:hyper:

Phil was nice enough to send me a teaser pic this morning and I must say, I love how it looks. I had some concerns that the top would end up being too yellow, but it looks exactly how I envisioned it in the pic.

I am excited.

Wow wow wow... that looks killer!

Congrats Baird she is beautiful! I hope Fodera continues to offer Mango .I know you said in a past post that the Mango is a Pain in the butt to finish.
Thanks!

Not sure if it was Jason or one of the other Fodera folks mentioned that the spalted mango as well as the red oak neck were both a pain to work with.

I still haven't seen the neck, but I loved the feel of the red oak neck on a M4SF I played at Fodera. Different feel than maple.

Edit: Actually, Jason mentioned to me recently that the top needed something like 15 coats of clearcoat. I must be getting old!
