Correct. But the one MG with extended B is 34 scale I believeHis 6 is definitely a 33". I'm pretty sure all his Foderas are 33" (not sure about the fretless though).

The more I look at the MG shape the more I think it's perfect. Elegant and nice curvesHah, yeah, the angle squashes it a bit to me sure. Full 34"! It is mine (or, rather, will be when completed).
Speaking of which...

That's stunning, great taste. It seems that my bass is shipping today after being held up for a week waiting for US Govt paperwork. So it will be in my hands next week.
Phil was nice enough to send me a teaser pic this morning and I must say, I love how it looks. I had some concerns that the top would end up being too yellow, but it looks exactly how I envisioned it in the pic.
I am excited.

Thanks!Congrats Baird she is beautiful! I hope Fodera continues to offer Mango .I know you said in a past post that the Mango is a Pain in the butt to finish.
Oh Man, that is really spectacular Congratulations!!!Thanks!
Not sure if it was Jason or one of the other Fodera folks mentioned that the spalted mango as well as the red oak neck were both a pain to work with.
I still haven't seen the neck, but I loved the feel of the red oak neck on a M4SF I played at Fodera. Different feel than maple.
Edit: Actually, Jason mentioned to me recently that the top needed something like 15 coats of clearcoat. I must be getting old!

Thank you! Honestly, I'm not sure if it's been used before.I love the way it looks though and they should use it more.Amazing! I saw your bass in the shop the other day and I was completely blown away by this top. One of my all time favorites - and I think one of a kind for a Fodera, right?
