Yep, they sure are. One of my friends works there, she told me they got a bunch in before they were on the wall or website. They were selling in store for about 2 months before putting them online.

That's why I'd need 240 months. $17 a month for the next 10 years.
Real progress. I used to dismiss Foderas because they were too expensive. Now I can also tell that they're too heavy (at least by my criteria). Somehow I feel much better - A least until a 7.5 pound one shows up. Then I'm hosed - living in the dog house (but with a nice bass) for a couple months. Is it worth it?

Yea the weights surprised me too! Only one out of five even close to 9lbs. I don't even look at basses over nine lbs anymore as there are just too many top of the line basses that are lighter. Elrick is the first that comes to mind and most are significantly lighter and much less expensive.

Re weight: Fodera can absolutely make a light weight bass, but they feel tone is more important and believe there is such a thing as too light. I agree. My ideal weight for tone and then comfort is between 8.5lbs and 9.5lbs. My main Fodera 5 is right at 9lbs or slightly less.
this makes me a bit sad. Is mass production the new thing at Fordera?
Saying sweetwater carries foderas now and someone following it up with "they got the new rickenbackers too" is like saying "did you hear the car dealership down the road just got some Lamborghini's in?" Then some other guy follows it with "yeah, and they got the new Kia rio's too"
