My S-15XD and S-15L are the loudest and smallest cabs around. It's hard to beat a 103db sensitivity rating.

Pretty much anything with Bergantino stamped on it.

+1 on Bergantino cabs. I use an HT210/HT115 setup and IMO they sound great. Too bad Jim discontinued them, but I'm sure his current product line is even better than my setup. I also use two Aguilar GS112's for smaller rooms, and I like their sound as well. Both my Bergs and Aggies handle the B-string really well.

Today, just for kicks I did some A/Bing. I powered my Bergs with one channel of my Crest CA9 and powered my Aggies with the other channel. While the Aggies IMO have a great tone and lots of volume for their size, the Bergs are definitely in a league of their own.

I either use a Eden D212xlt or a pair of Eden D210xst cabs, but then I also use a Eden D610xlt.
They all do the job well for me, most of the time you will find not having an amplifier with enough power to reproduce the low notes the biggest problem in getting the *sound* your looking for.

I use an Epifani rig (performance series) with the PS 410 cab and the PS 600 head. The cab is rated at 800 watts and I run 600 into it. If you're going to go with one 4X10 cab make sure you get one rated at 4 ohms instead of 8.

I detune my 5s a half step (i.e. Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb) and my rig handles it VERY well. Sometimes I'm told to turn down because it gets so loud.

I am currently using:

Eden WT800C
Eden D410XLT
Eden D210XST

and that was an upgrade from the

Eden Metro (D210XLT)
Eden D210XST

So if you are planning on pounding most rooms then the wt800c/410xlt/210xst is probably going to get your job done and the sound guy/gal will love you. They have to do "nothin" with your sound.

Some cabs I've used over the years. Hartke 4.5XL (one of the most under rated cabs) kinda big and heavy but very smooth response clear down to the low B. SWR Triad (3 way cab 15+10+horn) Again smooth response clear down to the low B. Whappo Jr. (what I have now) Really smooth and clear response down to the low B. I've never gotten to try one but the Acme B4 is a really good bet. These cabs need a bunch of power and to play really loud you will probably need 2 of them. I had a pr of Bergantino HT/EX112's. Powerful little speakers with a descent B string for such small cabs.
