For guitarists: What guitar do you play?

I've played a few, but currently have a Gibson 2013 LPJ Pro. Plays well, sounds good, and didn't break the bank.

MIC Squier Delonge Strat. Hardtail, 1 humbucker, MOTO pickguard, surf green.
Why? It's visually (imo) offputting, it plays very well, it actually does more than one thing, and it was 60 bucks.

I don't play a lot of guitar, but when I do it's usually acoustic. And 12 sting at that. So, an old Yamaha FG-512 is the instrument in the living room.

I have a black Rick 620 that I love for the few occasions that I get to play electric. Honestly it sounds better when someone else is playing it. But it looks _bitchin_ next to the black 4003, and I need an electric in the house for others to play. It's the only Rick in the neighborhood so the cats that come by and jam on it are surprised by how much they love the sound.

The only PUBLIC guitar playing I generally do is in church, which is with an acoustic - Alvarez AF60CE that I got as a B-stock. But I clicked the poll before I thought of that, because I was thinking of my electric, which is a Godin Session Custom. It's basically modeled on a Tele, but with a contoured body and neck humbucker, plus this active "revoicer" circuit that basically gives you a built-in clean boost.

I'm not much of a guitar player but I have 2 guitars for just messing around with.

I wanted a hollowbody electric so I could play it unplugged if desired. The Epiphone Casino was good enough for John, Paul, and George so I got one of those. I put on light gauge jazz flats and it looks and sounds great.

Recently someone was selling a semihollowbody Hofner CT guitar which is not made anymore. I love my Hofner CT bass so I jumped on it. This guitar is also very nice, lightweight and I put flats on it as well. It has a nice snarly tone, good for blues and classic rock. It's a looker too.

My current knock around guitar is a Squier II strat. Then there's the Agile LP pictured, and a basic Ibanez econo shredder. For acoustics, I have a Hohner "Martin lawsuit" from the 70s, and an Ibanez 12 string. I also have a new Gibson LP Studio. With my skill set, however, I would just be insulting it, so it just sits in the closet.

How are you liking that Agile? Those are on my wish list...

I really like it. The quality is flawless, and it plays really nice.

When I get all hippy dippy I play my neck through body Ibanez Musician MC300NT...

It plays and sounds absolutely killer. It took a bit to adjust to the 27" scale and extra strings, but I love it!

And, it is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen!

Les Paul, Semi Hollow, Acoustic, and Other.

"Other" would be SG and Firebird. And LP Jr. and LP-shaped Melody Maker if those don't fit the "Les Paul" category. I have a strat copy but it really doesn't get played. More of a Gibson guy, I suppose. I've also been fiddling around with lap steel but I just took an SG and added a nut extender and raised the action so I don't really think that counts.

I don't always play guitar, but when I do, it's a fender copy or an acoustic. I play a Dean Strat clone, will soon finish a Tele clone, and I mess around on a Seagull s6 that smells vaguely of elderly people and menthol cigarettes. They're all cheap guitars, because we all know the wise investment is always bass gear!

Peavey JF-1 335 style, Ive always loved 335's.
Peavey Reactor Tele with Hot Rails. This gets the Tele sound in my head, kind of Roy Buchanan with some more roundness.
Epi Les Paul Special 1 P-90. Heck , it was only $100 and it turns out I really like it. Just like a Tele, basic functional and simple.
