Funny...yesterday, I added this into my Want List. It was $17.

Focus, people! Do your homework, too many 60's bands being listed here. Here's a trio of trios who couldn't get arrested
in their time, but whose members(at least some of them)went on to bigger and better things----

Ursa Major, featuring Dick Wagner, the great tag team guitarist(with Steve Hunter)of Alice Cooper/Lou Reed/Aerosmith/Kiss fame(among others)....


Dust, featuring drummer Marc Bell(eventually Marky Ramone), bassist Kenny Aaronson(later with Rick Derringer and Billy Idol)and guitarist Richie Wise, who along with writing partner Kenny Kerner, would shepherd Kiss's early career...


These guys were mentioned above, but not explained. Detroit area band Sky(not the UK proto fusion band)which featured a young Doug Feiger on bass, years before his 15 minutes of fame with The Knack...

In the book, Billy Joel was mentioned as an original member of Ursa Major. Hard to believe.
Wagner was also in Dust, too...correct?

Kenny Aaronson...I recall him with Billy Squier.
Aaronson is also a big Jamerson disciple...he has a bit in SITSOM

Naw, Dust was strictly NYC, Wagner was Detroit, but had a earlier quartet called The Frost. Kenny Aronson has had quite a varied career beyond what I mentioned.
