BloodRock!!

Ha-Ha in a good way for both of those. Some of my earliest drum lessons were being taught how to play the songs from BloodRock. 10 years later, my first roommate and band partner was infatuated with Camel. It always bugged him that I didn't share his affection.

On a more serious note I nominate the ones I think are most forgotten relative to their quality (with one exception as noted:

Savoy Brown (from whence came Foghat)
Climax Blues Band
Procul Harum and Robin Trower
Black Oak Arkansas (maybe better off forgotten but you can't deny Tommy Alldrige as a drummer nor that Jim Dandy was Jim Dandy before David Lee Roth was Jim Dandy)
Ram Jam "Whoa! Black Betty! Ram a Lam" Song lives on but band is forgotten.

Extra Special Mention for 70's Journey. I really consider the Aynsley Dunbar/Greg Rolie years a separate band that was way different from the FM radio hit machine they turned into.

And a shout out for two So. Cal bands. Ambrosia and Sparks before they turned disco.

Almost forgot Rory Gallagher.

Rich...I do not remember Quiver.

But Quiver did remind me of Quill.
Has Quill been mentioned yet? Quill performed at Woodstock...
