Ferrari was quietly consistent. They had a decent entry this season... and I'm guessing, unlike Mercedes and Red Bull, they didn't put a ton of resources into souping up the 2020 car for the 2021 season. Leclerc and Sainz are both solid drivers and the team seems to be well managed.

What I'm curious to see is how good will Ferrari's '22 car be. I read good things earlier in the year. Would love to see them return to form.

Gene Haas is a crook (it's true, look it up) and he doesn't appear to have a passion for racing. Eventually he'll have his fill and tap out.

Haven't scored any real points since they had Hulkenberg. He came in for Racing Point last year for one race and ended the season with more points than the Haas drivers combined.

Max fans like to whinge about Silverstone, but what Lewis did there was the exact same as what Max does: brake late, miss the apex and force the other driver to give way or crash. The big difference is that Max chose crash where Lewis chooses avoidance. I didn't like it when Lewis did it, and I didn't like it when Max did it.

And don't worry about getting in and asking questions. It's how you learn. People who have been watching racing for 40 years may find your question obvious, but don't let that stop you.

Oh, I disagree -- they're gonna look sweet. The F2 cars look killer with the big wheels.

I just hate they're going to slow the cars down... but F1 teams hire really smart nerds who get off on watching their creations go faster than those of the nerds on the other teams. :smug:

They won't be slower for too long. Those smart nerds will learn to maximize the potential of the new cars, aero and tires in fairly short order. And if the changes allow for better/closer racing like they're supposed to, I for one won't worry about a slightly longer lap time.

No surprise -- Lewis Hamilton will return to Mercedes for at least the 2022 season.

In other news... Ferrari to reveal their 2022 entry sometime between February 16-18.

Also, I see Christian Horner has received a contract extension through 2026 to remain team principal.
