That's the American sports fan in me unfortunately. I'm not interested in watching teams duke it out for p4/p5 anymore than I'm interested in watching the Washington Wizards battle the Toronto Raptors for the last spot in the playoffs. Ultimately they're all going nowhere.

I only started watching after the Netflix Drive to Survive came out....and for years had to watch Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri win most races ( Mercedes Miles ahead of all others $$$$)
But ,because of Netflix ,was much more engaged with all the teams and the players .

A few days late, but unfortunately another snooze fest of a race. It looks like overtaking is getting a lot more challenging for anyone not in a Red Bull. The last 10-15 laps were mostly devoted to showing a three way race for 15th place I think.

Again, the cost cap seems to be having the opposite of the intended effect. Williams and Haas will never be challenging for championships or even wins at any point in the next decade probably. Maybe the cost cap makes the midfield a bit more competitive. But when the big resource teams like Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, etc. get it wrong on car design, and they might otherwise be able to spend their way back into contention at some point throughout the season, their hands are tied and they are prevented from doing so by the cap.

Has there ever been a season where only one team won every race of the season? Outside bad reliability or a possible Lance Stroll 2nd row start yeeting max and Checo out of the race in turn one of the first lap, I don't see how they will lose a race.

I loved Qualifying day...nail biting stuff.
Race day was a thrill for us. One of the most exciting Race Days...
Great to see Aston Martin showing promise!
Alonso was fantastic..
Checo won the day...Love Red Bull.

What happened to McLaren !!?? They were doing so well last year.

Hulkenburg is one of my favorite drivers and Magnessun....Come on HAAS!! Very exciting

I would love to see Williams get back on top. but probably a far off dream.

Some great mid field battles and bottom end clashes.
Very exciting weekend.

Sorry you folks did not enjoy! But me and mine really did.

I don't see that happening unless Red Bull cars do not finish for some reason, but I think Aston Martin has a good chance to finish 2nd in the Championship. Stroll hasn't made many points yet but he's fast and he was very unlucky last race. Alonso finishing 3rd overall is not a crazy idea anymore.

Yeah, he lacks the "special gift" certain racers have, but I cheer for him as our only Canadian driver.
Thank God he doesn't have to fight for a contract..lol

I just hope whatever problems Alfa had in Jeddah (Bottas’s damage notwithstanding) get resolved before Melbourne and the rest of the calendar. I loved the profess they made last year and the Bottas-Zhou pairing is my favorite on the grid (plus I’ve always been an Alfa Romeo fan) so here’s hoping for some more points.
