Found a cool old bassist, need some help?

Hey y'all,
I've never posted here on TB before but I've been a member for a while. I usually just check out the classifieds and stuff but I clicked this thread and read the whole thing (34 pages) in one sitting. It's such an inspirational story that makes me want to go out there and find someone to help out.

I found out when I was about 44 years old that my parents bought me from a crooked doctor. Unexpected & weird S*%T happens in life. It took me 11years of searching & investigation to find out who my real parents were. Every piece of paper involved was falsified. I know it's easy & popular to be cynical, but strange things DO happen. I found my full-blood brother at the age of 56. We never knew about each other & there are 3 more of us......somewhere.

Moe? Is that you ? LOL just kidding. Hope you have a sense of humor about your situation.

G.E., I've read through this whole thing, and you've been telling people not to give you the credit. dude, it's not that you've brought the family back together or something. It's that you did the RIGHT THING, and because of your act of kindness, big things happened. Call it obey God, Allah, Buddha, good karma, The Force.... whatever you want. But just know that all good deeds, small or big, make a profound difference in the world; and what you did helped put the efforts of two people looking for a DECADE to rest and gave one lost man the greatest gift of all.... family. We aren't saying you are entirely responsible for all this.... but had you not gotten that bass for that guy and posted bout it here.... none of this would have ever happened. That is what we commend you on.

Hey everyone,

The article is in today's NY Daily News - pg. 18 and 19 - includes a picture of the three brothers (Maurice, Andre and Arthur/Butch) when they were little.

Here is the web link for those who can't pick up a hard copy of the paper, but the Daily News is available all over so check around.

Hopefully I'll be able to share some video of Butch and G.E. playing.

Thanks to G.E. and Butch for allowing me to share this story with a wider audience.

No reunion has been set. So that still remains to be seen....
