Found a cool old bassist, need some help?

I was fortunate enough to meet up with GE last April- what a terrific guy! My family and I were in NYC for a day when my kids had April Vacation and he took some time to meet up with us in Grand Central Station in between classes.

VERY cool guy, I have a lot of respect for him and wish him all the best!

Thanks Ken!

I haven't seen Art in awhile. Last I heard from him he works at a catering place in Manhattan and he usually plays with the Jimmy Mack band on Wednesday nights at this place

I keep meaning to go but I have long rehearsals on Wednesday nights.

I no longer work at that restaurant and haven't since around Valentines day. My boss gave Art all my hours and then told me she could no longer afford to pay me, despite the fact that he cuts tomatoes and everything else one handed. We're still friends and I saw him the other day. He played a gig recently that I know of at the Muddy Cup on Staten Island.

What you did, it was a tremendous act of kindness. I applaud you.

Your ex-boss, is an *#@%*&@$#.

Don't let what your boss did change your heart.

The world needs more bright souls like you and less darkness.

I read through this once before, but all I remember is that you ended up getting him an SX 5er (iirc). So does anybody happen to know what page and/or post number the solution was on?

Thanks

I read TB with the 40 post per page option.

So page 1 for me:)

Post #28 is Art's long lost brother and me getting enough funds and donations to get him new gear is a few before that.

Post around 240 for giving him the bass

pictures at 478.

Lots of crap back and forth in between.
