Fractal Audio VP4 Bass Presets

These are some presets I created during beta testing. All of these presets have 4 scene and are best auditioned that way. Scenes with expression pedal control are noted in the scene title. The presets are available to download here: VP4 Bass Presets

• Bass Chorus - The scenes all have chorus (duh)
• Bass Growl - The scenes are all based on one Ring Modulator channel
• Bass Synth - Various synth oscillators in different combos
• Bass Pitch - Drop tuned bass, octave up/down and a power chord
• Bass Misc 1 & 2 - a variety of scenes I've used at gigs

Sounds really great to me! No apologies needed. Were there any Envelope Filter quack-o-rama sounds you've made? Bassists in this Effects forum love that stuff (me...guilty). Nice representation of the pedal. I'm already locked-in with the FM9 Turbo, but I do think the VP4 is a great addition to the Fractal Lineup. Really hoping that Fractal throws us bassists a bone here and there with some new bass-specific models. I hear the Ged SansAmp might be getting added to the Drives.?? Keeping my eyes open for that one.

The Envelope Filter type in the Filter block works great. I only had that on one of my synth patches. I just created a Bass Quack patch. I'll record a demo later and add it to the first post.
