Absolutely. Fantastic writing and acting. Too many laugh out loud scenes to mention. Wonder how long it would have kept going had Dermot Morgan not died. What a legacy though.

Going back to Soap, I remember the Benson spin off too. Can't remember if it was funny though, but again my old man loved it.

The Inbetweeners, Lead Balloon and Not Going Out currently on my regular watch list.

Louie - This is how good a show can be when the network takes their hands off and lets one person do whatever they want.

Coupling - (At least the first three series. Oliver was a poor replacement for Jeff) - "I have the key to the gates of paradise, but I've got too many legs!"

I must have been one of the few people that watched 'Better off Ted'. I felt the writing on that show was great, with supersonic, razor-sharp wit. It felt like what Sports Night (which I loved as well) would have been if they kept it 100% comedy, instead of a drama-dy...

I agree, MASH got too preachy. I enjoyed 3rd Rock, Arrested Development, and many of the others listed here. I did enjoy Frasier, but it had to many little... things going on it that kinda gnawed on me. Psychiatrists are medical doctors, they had him act more as a counseling psychologist with an occasional script pad and a lot of the Freudian schtick that Frasier worshiped had been clinically disproven... I may have differently if I wasn't in the middle of 4 UL psych classes when I went through and watched the show start to finish.. :P

I have never watched a single complete episode of Frasier. I think I sampled it a couple of times for no more than a few minutes and couldn't stand it. I admit I didn't really give it much of a try. It's not that I don't have a sense of humor. I love Arrested Development, Seinfeld, and others. :hmm:

Frasier is one of my favorites. Who knew two psychiatrists would end up needing more therapy than their respective patients?

One the classic episodes is when the whole gang goes to a cabin, and a Neil Simon-esque situation arises when the hormones start raging.

Niles and the parakeet stuck to his head
Taking a dead seal out to sea
