Frederic Leclercq - Bass Player for Dragonforce

Hey everybody. Now, I'm not a Dragonforce fan at all, but I have nothing against them either. But after reading this article in Australian Guitar that I borrowed from the library, I have something against their bass player.

"I play guitar, I don't practice bass at all. I don't really like playing bass as my main instrument, so I just grab it for the sound check, put it back and grab it right before the stage time, find the first note OK and do it."

"I've got, I don't know, with the songs that we play and the songs I remember I could possibly play 25 songs like that. By bass it's always the same notes anyway."

"Like I said, I got a bass a week before I got the first show with Dragonforce".

There's alot more, I get the connotation from reading an interview from this guy that he's quite full of himself and pretty arrogant. What you do guys think?

Not only is that arrogant but if it's always the same notes then maybe he should quit trying to be creative because it just sounds like a chore to him and hand itover to someone who would enjoy it and do the art some justice:eyebrow:
