Hi, I seem to have a problen exporting and importing patches .......it locks my PC up . All other functions seem ok .
Running on Windows 7 , anyone else have this problem?

I suspect a driver issue. Do you have the latest zoom drivers?​

Dear Denis

The ToneLib is an application for Win and OSX which allows you to see, change and save all the settings in your Zoom pedal through your computer. Intuitive drag-and-drop interface will allow you to build your Effect Chain and design the sound you need in the easiest way.

As soon as you’ve reached the sound to your liking, you can save it both on your personal Zoom device and your computer, or even share it with other.

At present, the program works with (latest firmware):
B1on, B1Xon, MS-60b, G1on, G1Xon, MS-50g, MS-70CDR

You can download it from the downloads section www.tonelib.net. The program is free. Enjoy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

(*) Minor tiny bugs I have already reported. But they do not the least impede the quality of the core functionality, which I have experienced so far as being rock solid.

Unfortunately, no . It has hardware limitations that prevent from doing that.

PS The Zoom B3 remains at the top my to-do list.

I used the software this weekend to tweak my ms50g; holy crap, what a difference!

I was able to dial in a bunch of my guitar patches in no time flat. I tweaked some to work better with my bass, since my ms50g is on my mixed board; mostly analog pedals for bass though. The zoom is for some bass modulation, but mostly heavy lifting for guitar effects I couldn’t fit on my board.

Next is to tackle the G3Xn and tweak the patches to do the octave-up/guitar half of my pseudo dfa1979 inspired rig.

I’m really impressed with the software, and so thankful that it’s free to download. I’ve had these two pedals for about a year now, and all this time, I’ve been loosing out on their functionality. I’m glad this program makes it so easy to get the most out of my equipment.

Great stuff, Denis! I look forward to using it even more!

What a fantastic piece of software, modifying the patches on my B1Xon was a complete PITA, now it is simplicity in itself.

TL;DR - If you have an older version of Windows 7 it might be 32 bit so you will need the 32 bit version of ToneLib even if you have a 64 bit CPU.

Long version.
I finally got ToneLib loaded on a PC. As a Linux user who hasn't used Windows for about 10 years this took a bit of doing.

I acquired 2 Windows 7 PCs (Dual core 2.7GHz Pentium 64 bit CPU, 4GiB Ram) from a friend who has an IT business (it's always good to have a spare), after a few emails I got the correct password to login to them.

Next I downloaded the ToneLib program (on my Linux PC) and transferred it across to the Windows PC. When I tried to install it I got the Error message "Wrong CPU". I have a 64 bit CPU and used the 64 bit program but no joy. In desperation I downloaded the 32 bit version and it installed no problems.

It turns out that the older versions of Windows 7 are 32 bit so despite having a 64 CPU I needed the 32 bit version of ToneLib.

Every version of Windows since XP could be 32 bit or 64 bit, so you have to check to be sure which version you have.

Now I'm disappointed I flipped my CDR for the 100BT.

Right?! I really wish I would've held onto my 70CDR too. Especially after I hear the last update made it sound even better too. I still have my 60b though. I will be paying with this when I get home

@ Tonelib... Thank you sooo much, this is fantastic, really gave a new life to my MS60B.
Being able to do backup, and to edit on a big screen makes enormous difference.

Now I'm buying a B3n 'cause I know you give support to both pedals.
Zoom should pay you for what you are doing.

BTW: I dont see a donation button in your forum, please implement one, I'm willing to give back some free beers.

A quick suggestion for Denis, the developer of Tonelib. It would be great if you could filter the effects in the right-hand pane by a search box. I know they are already grouped by type - amp, dynamics, delay etc. but it would be useful to be able to search for "chorus" and see all the applicable effects now that there are 142 in total. The app could filter by the effect name or better still by a match to the description of each effect. This description is already in the app and is displayed when you select an effect in the effects chain. It would also be useful to see the effect description in the right-hand pane without having to drag the effect to the chain, possibly on a mouse hover (to save space). Finally for the search/filter to be comprehensive an "All" category would be useful in addition to "Dynamics/Filter","Amp Simulator" etc. Anyway just my 2c, fantastic editor and a joy to use. Well done.

I have my B3n now, and I can confirm that tonelib works like a charm with it
while official editor from Zoom, Guitar Lab, does not even recognize the B3n, what a shame.
