Does anybody remember the original wolfenstein game? Turns out this is Wolf's 20th anniversary, and they now have it for free on the website:

I have the Return To Castle Wolfenstein on my PC that has much better controls but the original still has some charms.

I used to hate shooting the dogs! lol. What an awesome game though, seriously. I had it on my iphone a while back and it was fun to play. My Wolfenstein addiction led to a Doom addiction, which led to a Duke Nukem addiction... at that point I had to stop. I was wasting my life on all of them- Heretic, Rise of the Triad, Quake, etc.

Wow! Wolfenstein! I played that for so many hours on end, drawing maps, etc. I was so addicted. When I finally made it out, it was some kind of catharsis and I have never felt the need to play another video game ever again. Still have no interest at all in games.

Sometimes, when you kill a German, he yells something like
"Mein Liebschen!" but it sounds a little like "My name is Ben!"
I always laugh when I hear that.

I remember playing Wolfinstein 3D back in the day, it installed/ran off an ole' 3.5" floppy (I still have it). I bought all the acts/extensions as well. I played the newer Wolfenstein games, but nothing beats the classic.

Oh yeah, I got it on a shareware floppy too for DOS, and later on a 3.5 to play on win95. My fave from back then was the original Duke Nukem & Nukem 2.
