Forgive me if this subject has already been discussed but, has anyone bought, played or tried one of these Freestyle 51 style Precision/Tele style basses that I am seeing on various ad/sales/eBay sites. They look ok but, as we all know, it’s not until you actually pick the thing up does it immediately fall into the yes or no moment. I think I’ve read somewhere that are built in Ireland but, how can they build a bass and sell it for as little as £90...!
I am an old gigger, now in my latter years and know only too well that cheap guitars are usually “cheap” but, they have been around for a while so, must still be churning them out....
