Fretless five competition: Mad scientist edition

Action shot from when Big B was on stage:

Dude! You're from outer space!
I still maintain the same opinion I held previously...
The back is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, and displays the beauty of the woods selected in a showcase that tends to defy natural physics.

But for me, the beauty of the top woods is it. You have managed to present the Natural Beauty that Nature provided within the woods and portions of the woods that you have selected, with an elegance that is amazing.

With all that is going on visually, there is going to be a lot to live up to sonically, and musically...

:hyper:

Thanks KC, I am glad you like it. As wild as the back is I find myself drawn to the top as well. Something about the ziricote and pale moon ebony just draws me in. I think you will be very happy when I get my sound clips finished. Thanks to all of you guys for checking in and offering advice along the way.

Hey guys, quick update. Yesterday afternoon I recorded a video demonstration of the bass that turned out well. Unfortunately, before I could upload it a 1/2 mile wide tornado ripped through my town about a 1/4 mile away from me. Fortunately my house made it ok but we have a 1/2 wide streak of nothing through our city and power will probably be out for days. As soon as I can post the video I will and I will check back in when I can.

just kiddin...sorry to hear that man.

Sorry to hear that, Big B. Our town was hit also. A community called Camp Creek was virtually wiped out. I was watching the news and weather yesterday evening for tornado warnings here and saw Tuscaloosa....I just didn't put 2 and 2 together. Hope all goes well for you and yours and you will be in my prayers.

Thanks guys. The damage is beyond belief but my house is about 200 yards from where the serious damage begins. I have seen several tornadoes in person and seen a lot of damage but this is something else entirely. Parts of our city are unrecognizable. Just to give you an idea, I saw an entire concrete foundation pulled out of the ground and sitting on top of the foundation across the street. Fortunately I am in Phoenix for the next few days so I hope the power is back up when I get out. I have my demo video with me so maybe I can post it while I am here.
